Injustice, 2019

Inspired by the Netflix series, When They See Us. While watching this series I became outraged by the continued injustice in our world. While I can’t pretend to know how it feels to be a person of color, I wanted this sculpture to reflect what I imagine are the devastating emotions felt by those who continue to face systemic racial injustice.
